Friends with guys but friends with girls less. I'm afraid my girlfriends won't want to be my friends anymore.

And why do you prefer to be friends with guys instead of the girls that have stood by your side this far in life? Because you want to look like you are easy? I hope your friends dump you, they deserve better.

There's no reason to want to abandon your friends that are girls. Although you and them may get upset at each other a few times, they're the ones that are always going to be there for you. The thing with guys is that they'll date you, and then they'll break up with you and they won't be friends with you anymore. I'm not saying that all guys are like this, but I've known a good amount of girls that have been dropped by their guy friends when they dated some of them and broke up. Sorry, but it's very likely that if you hang out with a bunch of guys, you're gonna end up having feelings for one of them. But if you still want guy friends, go ahead, no prob. I just think that you should hang out with both.

I dont see the logic in doing this. Why dont you just keep the female friends you have now and just make some more guy friends. That way in the end, you will have more guy friends than females. I dont think its wise to cut off your female friends because not all guys will be there for you as a female friend will. One day your going to need a shoulder to cry on and some girl talk, but it will never happen because you got rid of everyone. Believe me, when you hit HS, its a whole new world, dont ruin it so early in MS.

You should say why you want to do that on here. It's great to have guy friends, but do you really want to miss out having time with the girls? Girls are the best friend another girl could have, they understand each other. You are obviously a tomboy, but don't dump all of your girlfriends.

Just starting middle school and you are a girl? Why on earth would you want to be friends with just guys? If you want to have a reputation as a slut then go ahead. If you want to be considered a nice girl , then stay friends with the girls you are already friends with and make new friends with whoever you think you might have similar interests with, boy or girl. Concentrate on your school work and don't be friends with anyone who might hurt your grades or reputation.

Better not to tell you girl friends that you want to have guy friends that them so that they won't feel hurt just maintain the friendship that you have with your girl friends so that they won't think that you are avoiding them or still get in touch with them sometimes even you have more guy friends.

I don't understand why you want to be friends with girls less? People are going to label you a 'slut' even if you aren't doing anything with your male friends. I think you should reconsider. Even if you are only going into middleschool you should realize that you shouldn't cut people out of your life without a valid reasons. Think before you make your girl friends no longer your friends.

i underrstand y u wanna hang around guys they r less drama and easier to chill with..although i dont..but just tell them that is was nice bein super close friends but the time has come where i want to chill with the guys...then say now i love u all but i have to do this...so i'll still be ur friend but i wont be around as much, i really am sorry but i have made up my mind...u can add me as a contact if ya like..or anyone that sees this...glad i could help bye..

Don't worry about being friends with guys. That will happen. You will always need your girlfriends so don't give them up. You are too young to worry about all this stuff. Keep your girlfriends and have fun.

why ditch them if you dont have to? if they are good people there is no point. middle school may be different than you think. try and stick with who you have and make more friends. middle school can be a though place when it comes to keeping relationships. dont bail out on them just becuase you want guy friends. keep them and if it works out that u aren't friends, then move on, but if not then good. good luck.

They'll be wanting to do the same thing. I wouldn't worry.
BUT I wouldn't sacrifice time spent with your girlfriends, you're going to need them more than ever. Your next 20 years will be very crazy, you'll need your friends to help keep you balanced.
