Im a teen making a movie which i am serious about. I want it to be somewhat simple and have some humor and some action, but not alot of either. Im using the movie Friday as a base cus it is simple but still good and has aspects of humor and action. I dont want any big action scenes because the special effects would be crappy. The backdrop of the story is 2 bf's, john and mike, who are entering junior year of h.s. John is under alot of pressure to succeed and has a crush on this girl. Mike is more easy going and finds out he is moving. Part of it is they reminice about their freindship and how things are changing. The crush comes full circle at the end. They have one last problem to overcome or go on one last adventure before they go their seperate ways. I need help figuring what that should be. Any ideas? (not figuring how not to move)

I really want it to show teen angst and how the teenage years are years of change, which will mostly be addressed in 1 on 1 conversations.

Ok, how about this. John and Mike want to find the perfect party to have their relationship go out on a bang. Lets say the time frame of the movie is one night. They know of a few different parties and clubs and stuff. Each one they go to is different in some way and each one disappoints them. They spend time between their party appearances talking and also pick up the girl somewhere along the way (which puts a strain on their evening). One of the parties turns a bit on the violent side (for a bit of action) but our heros escape. As for the ending, I am thinking of something like the sun is coming up and they never found the party that they were really looking for but realized that they had a better time looking for it (sort of an analogy of life).

I think it should be about them say good bye to their child hood. Doing things they can't get away with once they're considered adults... for example taking out the light bulb in the restaurant sign "Blank Angus" it would be funny if restaurant turned on the light not realizing light bulb in letter "g" was taken out. they should pull something everyone at school would admire. then they get caught but mike takes the blame for john.. cuz he's moving anyways...
