I confess I have done this using a serious and thoughtful tone of voice when my mum rang me recently. I restricted myself to using lyrics by classic brit band The Jam. Opening line to challenge myself was: 'Wish I could be like David Watts..' I got 6 in seamlessly ( I think, but she might have been playing along) she caught me when I asked her 'to succumb to the beat surrender.'
Yes I have a stupid sense of humour but I truly love my mum and I love to hear her laugh. Love you mum!

I love this idea becos alot of the times when I can't express myself, I come up with songs lyrics or alot of times (spookily) song lyircs pop into my head!!
a good one was when someone was seriously messing with me & I was really mad..then this song came into my head: (sorry can't put all the lyrics..)
(don't call me baby, by atomic kitten)
" I'm the one to take you on
Don't underestimate me boy I'll make you sorry you were born
You don't know me the way you really should
You're sure misunderstood
Don't call me baby
.....
Behind my smile isn't my IQ
I must admit this does not sit with the likes of you
You're really sweet
Mmmm.. you're really nice
But didn't mama ever tell you not to play with fire
Don't think that I'm not strong
I'm the one to take you on
..."
I thought it was quite funny!...

Hmmm...I was just thinking this morning, what if you had to live a day pulling a stupid gurning face all day. You would have to eat, talk, work with this silly face all day. Your suggestion sounds better though.
