I asked a very similar question recently. I got a BA in Anthropology where I emphasized Archaeology, but my life has greatly changed in recent years. I have always been told that someone with an Anthropology degree can do just about any job that they want. However, I was having difficulty finding much. Someone did say something that I must have missed along the way and I am now looking into. They said that you have to know how to sell yourself. You have to convince the potential employer that you have the skills needed and how having someone with such a degree would benefit their company, etc.

I know that might not be a lot of help, but you can also look up my questions under my name to see what answers I got. I would suggest maybe something working with less fortunate people. Maybe a non-profit.

The same things that any new graduate can do with any liberal arts degree, lots of things. You should have good critical thinking and writing skills and probably have taken some basic statistics or research methods. Those are the kind of skills employers are looking for more than specific degree skills. Talk with your faculty advisers and the people at you college career center. They should be able to help you.

0) More schooling - MS.
1) Teach undergrads and yard apes.
2) Become a waitress,
3) Roll up your degree into a tight cylinder... and relieve constipation.

Here's an idea! Manufacture the product to fit market needs rather than produce product first and then go searching for a market. Hunter College in New York looses an unending flood of exquisitely erudite waitresses.

Duh, I'm not sure. I mean with such a high and over-skilled ability I don't think there is a thing in the world you can do. Why not go down to the corner McDonald's and study french fries to see how society and law make important anthropological inroads at the cash register?
