ignorance. It would not be easy, if it was, it would have been done long long ago. arm chair patriots , that turn into rambo when they get near a computer think they are so clever , but in fact they understand nothing, blinded and made gullible by their own propaganda. Iran is quite capable of defending itself. America won't attack Iran because it can defend itself. I knew this in the 1970's and I know it now.

Attacking and invading another country is not "easy". Iraq taught US that lesson clearly. Our troops are spread very thin with Bush's war strategies around the world as it is. Israel has enough enemies without having to fight Iran as well.

ignorance exactly, this has been coming for a long time, plenty of time to prepare, Iran is not weak, Iraq was weak and even that has turned into a disaster proving that no country can suppress the will of the people for long.
Iran can , and will strike back, the oil world is within their reach, but then again oilmen just loves high oil prices,

Attacking Iran effectively is easy; obtaining long term positive political results is difficult. Iran has one very large refinery to convert oil into gasoline. This facility produces about 60% of the countrys needs. The other 40% of its gasoline needs are imported. The destruction of this facility will bring Iran to a grinding halt. Other solutions are not nearly so simple or easy to accomplish.

It would, indeed, be fairly simple, conceptually, to destroy the nuclear sites in question. You'd just have to use a nuke, yourself, one that couldn't easily be defended against, like an ICBM, rather han a bomber.
The ramifications of such an attack can't be easily predicted, and might be very difficult to deal with, indeed.

Attacking Iran is simple. Just launch some missles, fly some planes over, drop bombs, etc, etc. But that's where the easy part ends.
Even days of air strikes would not help us reach our objective in such an attack. And the consequences both political and economic would be huse for the U.S.

a war on Iran could be tantamount with war on Shia Islam (as far as the Shia themselves are concerned). If anyone thinks that's going to be easy......

If the Iranians actually marched at us in cohesive units we would decimate them, thats not even in question. However, it is indisputable that if they all snuck in and acted like Iraqis except with explosives, it would not be good.
However, if we were to completely decimate the nuke facilities and the army at the same time..............
