Air America had to fail. Its target audience was intelligent, open-minded folks - who would rather listen to music or something than hear Franken tell us what to believe.
Which is why the right-wing talk radio works. The followers of Rush are such a bunch of brain-dead idiots that they NEED to be told how to think and what to believe.
I don't.
Franken will not win in MN - he's seen as more of a comedian and actor than a politician or leader. And he's too far left for most moderates, who after all comprise a lot of the voting population in MN.

I think the good people of Minnesota are too good for him . I also think Air America "HAD' to "fail" , somehow , before the left resumed the talk - radio censorship "Fairness Doctrine" . . since we all know what that was all about . Last time I went to Minnesota , they still liked the American Flag there , and flew it proudly . Nah , they won't buy into Al Frankenstein .

Who knows. Air America continues to be a failure - most of their target audience consists of people who don't care to be told how to think. With that as a business model, it will never be as successful as Conservative talk radio.
Republican's such as Ben Stein, however, have contributed to Franken's bid. This causes me to be curious as to what the outcome will be.
