my sons father is a pathological liar and we are in a custody battle. Is there a test i can request that he take, or some way to prove that he is a pathological liar. Please help a 5 year olds future depends on this

I think the best thing you'll be able to do is get recordings, or witnesses who know that he is a pathological liar and can state specific cases for you.

Your best bet is to confront him over email and see if he acknowledges any of what you say. Some state allow you to record a telephone conversation with him without him knowing. Other than that, if you know what some of his allegations are going to be, and you have any paperwork to disprove it, that would be a big help. Once he's shown to be a liar, the judge probably won't believe anything he says. Bring all kinds of paperwork, in case he says something you're not anticipating and you can disprove it.

Ask your lawyer to petition the court for a psychological assessment by an unbiased third party.
