I just moved to cali this year I was born in North Carolina. Iam half Germany half Brazil. I was wondering why do so many Mexicans worship the Raiders? What do they do that is so special? I was thinking mexicans love real football and not american football coz real football is more of a pride in your culture sport and american football is more of a city pride thing.
Same say they like them coz they look badass and they like the colors. well if you want to be a badass go be like Ted Bundy, Ed Gein or Josef Mengele the real life badasses. If you like the colors go become a Gothic person. 500 years from now they will not be around and they will be forgotten coz there just a football team. Cry me a river Raider Nation Fans

. Really what is so good about the Raiders? No one is giving me a stright answer. None of you have proven to me why the Raiders are such a great team. All you say is there my home team, your a Raider hater, bla bla bla. Gosh is it really that hard to explain your team to me? I dont want to hear mexicans like them coz there from LA or oakland. I have some mexican friends and they like dont like the Raiders. They like soccer and when I look at the Mexican channel guess what? No Raiders games are on. Only soccer games. So what is up?

Is this even a real question or just a Raider hater? 500 years from now bro, none of these sports will be around, so take it easy. Hispanics in Cali like the Raiders because before they were in Oakland (for the second time) they were in Los Angeles. Guess what, LA is really close to Mexico and there is a HUGE hispanic community in LA. So, obviously, theyre going to be fans of the Raiders (look around and you'll see a lot of them are also big fans of the Rams.) I am a Raiders fan... from San Diego, nontheless... Yes, they arnt the best right now, but I grew up in the 80's idolizing Marcus Allen, Bo Jackson, James Lofton, Tim Brown, Van McElroy, Howie Long, etc... that made me a fan. The Raiders might now be the team of right now, but they are "the team of the decades" winning a super bowl in every decade (except the 90's, alas.) Look at the great history of them, John Madden, Jim Otto, Fred Bilitnikoff, Ken Stabler, Jim Plunkett, Dave Casper, Jack Tatum, Art Shell, etc... should I go on? Before you start going off on a team, know the history. If you love soccer so much, great for you... but as much as I dislike soccer, Im not telling you people are lame for liking it, I just dont talk about it at all.... So anyways, dont judge people for who they like.... at least theyre not on a bandwagon....

First of all, what makes it NOT real football? Is it an illusion? Do you not see the people playing? It is real. I'm guessing by your attitude that you are speaking of the difference between North American Football, and Futbol. Please do not think of it so lightly. American football has been around for quite some time, and will continue to be around for quite a while longer. They are both equally exciting to those interested in them. If you don't like the sport then do not watch it. Nationality has nothing to do with the draw of NFL football. The Superbowl is broadcast around the world in many, many languages in many cultures. So your argument is null. The NFL plays games in Mexico City this year. That may be the reason so many of the mexican culture are interested in it this year over any other; assuming your observations are correct. Thanks for playing. Have a wonderful day! go Colts!

I can break this down for you real easily I used to live in the "BAY AREA! Whats Up Alameda!" Anywho it's real simple:

San Diego, Never has won a super bowl and should have made it atleast to the AFC Championship game last year... Nope Thanks For Playing and Blaming & Firing your Coach hello Ladainian Tomlinson future Free Agent, way future though.

San Francisco, gone the glory days of Montana, Rice, Young, Lott. Sure they have the Super Bowl Wins and all those guys are in the hall of fame. But on behalf of 49er fans everywhere "W. T. F. have you done for your fans lately?"

Now as Chris Berman says The OAKLAND RRRRRRAIDERS!, Sure they haven't done a damn thing since Tampa Bay gave them a butt whoopin in that Super Bowl a few years back. But you gotta understand something about the AFC West teams and Rivalries... WE ALL HATE EACH OTHER! My very first NFL game was at Oakland Alameda Stadium to watch the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Oakland Raiders. Now the point of this is I'm a KC FAN! If you've never been intimidated walk into that stadium on gameday and start rooting for the other team... I watched countless fights between KC and Oakland fans in the parking lot. In the end we fans are distant cousins to the Soccer Hooligans!
So your half German and half Brazilian...
Welcome To America!
See you at a Game!

They will be mediocre at best. They have a made a number of improvements in personel but they still have many holes to fill. Last year they were at least competitive in most of their games. This year they should pick up a win or two more than they did last year. The best we can hope for is they finish 7-9. Thats a longshot though. The fact that they are at least competitive again and have some young talent at least make watching the games more enjoyable. I know I threw less stuff at the TV last year.

Wow, I've never seen anybody so upset over so little. why don't you cry us a river, because you seem like the one with a problem here. People from Cali cheer for the raiders because THAT IS THE HOME TEAM they can also cheer for several other Cali Teams like the 49ers or Chargers.

real football? if your talking about soccer, it hasnt been around as long as our football. our football has been around since the native americans. stop being a cry baby because they have loyal fans. i will love the redskins if they go 0-16 or 16-0, they are my team. how do u know they wont be around in 500 years. who crowned you god and said u can predict the future. but u know what? i dont care because i will be 6 feet under in 500 years. stop hating people and accept it. i dont care if people like soccer or whatever because i dont have to. why does it matter that your half nazi and half gay?

I've been to North Carolina once. I went to a mall in Fayettville. I've never seen so many white kids dress like rappers. That is one confused place. But the Waffle House was good.
