It is so bad. I mean not bad as in bad/wicked, it's just bad. As in boring and repetitive. Are they trying to drive people mad, or what? Who cares what goes on under her umbrella? I mean, really....

It's called "Umbrella" by Rihanna. lmao. I know, it is, indeed, annoying. I think.. they keep playing it.. for the same purpose as the "Head-on" commercial. Somehow.. People started going, "Hey, this commercial is so darn annoying that I think I might go try this stuff out." Rihanna was blackmailed by an umbrella company, so the deal was for her to make a song about umbrellas so they'd have an amazing profit and she'd be free forever while us poor little punies had to listen to the song until something more annoying came out.
It's a great theory, I know

Its a good song. If you lisen to the lyrics more than the chorus.

Basically it talks about nothing coming in between two people..it can rain..storm,...whatever..nothing will detached them(separate them)

The thing is, you are all criticising the song and the artist but let me pose this question to you - would anyone of you who are criticising be able to do any better? None of you have sold any singles of your own and even if you did the chances are it wouldn't get to number one and would be soooo annoying the whole world would hate it. Think about it - there must be something in the song for the radio stations to keep playing it. It's annoying to you cos that is not your style of music honey.x

Haha! I totally agree with you. It is really annoying. At school, before I heard it for the first time, *everyone* was singing it. I don't think I've even heard the whole song and it's already driven me crazy! =) (I don't listen to a lot of current music....I'm more of a 90s and earlier kind of person)
Do we really need to have songs about "umberella-ella-ella"s playing over and over and over and over again? I miss the GOOD music! lol

It's Umbrella By Rhianna and I have no clue why they keep on playing it. It is one of the most ridiculous songs ever! It just goes to show you where society is now and who we idolize.

LOL, I can't agree with you there. People will obviously grow out of it the way the radio plays it, however there is a remix with Chris Brown that refreshes it a bit. Give it a few more weeks, then ask this question again >_<

I totally agree with you, its soo annoying, you know what else is annoying that stupid song called lipgloss. I hear them both everywhere, its songs like those that make me hate that type of music even more than i already do. But to answer your question i have no idea what the song is about, everytime i hear it i wanna shove that umbrella down her throat. :) haha

i agree that this song is terriibly bad and boring and repetitive and annoying, and i HATE how the radio plays it 24/7!! but non the less they keep doing so because everyone loves it and its high on the charts...
