I think there are at least 17 tree house of horror episodes. You can watch a few on here:

According to this there are a lot of different ones. I think they will keep making more. I should think there is probabaly a DVD collection of the "Treehouse Of Horror" series.

I don't think they had one during the first season. They have had one every year since then though.
