A friend of mine just spend $500 and all she bought was two shirts, a cap and a belly button ring!!!!!
All label stuff. I was mortified when she told me. I would never drop that much on a few pieces of crappy label clothing that I will wear a few times before they go out of style! I think that is crazy...and it's not like she is rolling in money either!!!
Do you know anyone like that...?

Yeah, that's ridiculous. Even if I HAD $500 to blow like that, I wouldn't do it. Sadly, some people find their self-esteem in a designer label........

I have a couple of friends like that. They spend like $500 for handbags and it's just not worth it. I mean Marc Jacobs bags aren't even good looking, people just think you should buy them as a status symbol. I personally shop in sales section and vintage stores, so i can buy an outfit gor under $20 (and guess what? it acually looks better and in style too, cause people think I acually spend alot on my clothes).

Well at first she reminded me of myself until you said she couldn't afford it. I'll probably be labeled a snob for saying this, but Labeled clothing is typically constructed of better materials and is more durable than a $10 Wal Mart tee shirt. You get what you pay for when it comes to just about anything.

That's what I call ridiculous. I know I was at Pac Sun one time and I spent 50 freaking dollars on a pair of pants. Can you believe it? I don't know anyone else like that but a friend of mine spends a lot of time in the mall trying to pick a pair of underwear. Seriously she stands in the same spot for like an hour trying to pick a pair. Here her parents can barely pay their bills but they spend over 1,000 dollars on clothes. Unbelievable!

omg.....that's ridiculous.....I'm like that sometimes.....I spent close to 80 on two cds and lip gloss...I was so mad that it came to that much....but I've learned to check the price tag b4 i buy the stuff haha
