(-10+5)-x+5-(5-10) = 5
(-5)-x+5-(-5) = 5
-5-x+5+5=5
-5-x+10=5
-x-5=5
-x=10
x = -10

The above answer is probably correct, but if ++ is deemed to be + shouldn't -- be considered to be a +? Very strange equation.
