You are not putting them in the right way. You need to take your time and insert it completely into the vagina and once it is in, you should NOT feel it. There should be picture instructions on the paper insert inside the box of tamposn. If that doesn't help, then ask your mom to help you if you cannot figure them out.

Ugh, I just hate that! We have all been there!

Sometimes the size tampon makes a difference, be sure you are using the smallest size that will handle your flow. Usually, the discomfort you are describing sounds like the tampon is not fully in place.

Be sure to try using a tampon on a heavy flow day, take your time, read the instructions, remember to gently push in until your thumb is touching or is almost touching your body and then push the plunger in. Tampons can't get lost! Your vagina is a short tube with only one way out for the tampon. :)

I wish you the best of luck!

It's probably not inserted correctly. Put one foot on top of the toilet or tub and try to insert it in this position. This might work better. Make sure that is in completely or it will irritate.
Remember to change tampons several times a day to help prevent toxic shock syndrome. Remove the tampon at bedtime and wear a pad.

If the tampon is the right size and inserted correctly, you should not even be aware that you have one inside you. If it is difficult to insert, you may be inserting at the wrong angle or using an applicator that is uncomfortable. It is possible that you are using too large a tampon for your flow. OB makes tampons that have no applicator so you use your finger to insert. That way you can't jab it in at an awkward angle. It gets easier the more you use them.

Yeah thats the feeling you get when it isn't far enough it. You need to insert the the tampon further inside. Don't worry it's not going to get lost in there and the string is sewn all the way up through the middle of the tampon so it will definately come back out. Hope that helps.

Sounds like they're either too big or not in right (not in far enough, possibly). Buy a smaller size (lesser absorbancy). If your flow isn't heavy it can be almost impossible to get it in right because the cotton just sticks instead of sliding in. In that case, I'd just wear a pad until a heavier flow day.

You might not be relaxing enough to push it far enough in. I remember when I used my first tampon, it was scary, and it felt like it didn't belong up there. It sounds like you aren't pushing it in far enough. if it's in correctly, you shouldn't feel it at all. Did you read the directions? Those helped me a LOT, if those don't help you, you could either try pushing it in further, and stand up and walk a few feet to see if you feel it, if you don't, congratulations, it's in correctly, or you could ask your mom or one of your friends that uses them a lot to go in the bathroom and help, yeah it will be embarrassing, but it's the only way of knowing if you are inserting it correctly.

I hope this helped! [:

You are not putting the applicator in far enough. You need to push the applicator in as far as you can (but so that you can still retrieve it) before expelling the tampon. I had the same problem as a young girl. I unfortunately was at band camp and marched for 2 hours like that before we had a bathroom break. Bad news bears!

i want to know what kind r u wearing, the best kind are pearls, cause they move when u move. and it depends on if u r light, medium, or heavy. cause what i'm think is that u r using a super tampon and that would cause u to have problems. it is a certain way the instruction tells u to put it in too. just follow

It takes time to get used to putting it in correctly and then feeling comfortable with wearing them. Most likely you just need to re-insert another till you get the hang of it. Also if ur period is lite then it may be difficult because its not moist enough.
