I made the horrible mistake of answering a question from a soldier in uniform with a "thank you for your service" and it was deleted for violating Yahoo guidelines. I can't believe I posted such an outrageous answer, Yahoo was right for listening to my troll and deleting it.. Thanks Yahoo!

I had a question asking for money for the Lt. Dan Foundation, which was obviosuly fake. Apparently someone was either dumb or for some reason can't tak a joke and it was deleted... So then I had to start the "Politically Correct Fake Un-offensive Lt. Dan Foundation", which was, however, not deleted.

Here's a shout-out to all the troops right now whether or not they're on Yahoo Answers- I guess I'll be politically incorrect and thank you!

Yes I'm guilty of that but I'm sure the asker expected it but someone else must not have been happy and it was a violation so I just took what I had coming . On a light note I got points back for a wrongful violation for the first time ever , that was great : )

Yes they can. I have had answers deleted for whatever reason they could think of. I try never to post anything offensive, and I still get deleted.

Yes i did. I answered one of $mitty's questions and i gave some rated r content on it too. A lot of swearing and graphical stuff. I do not regret having said that. He deserved it.

I also received a violation for a question i answered eleven months ago.

I answered a question that said "you should do your own homework instead of people doing it for you." But it wasn't deleted all I got was a dumb violation notice for it.

I thought the answers were deleted because somebody 'reported' them! Yahoo doesn't personally get involved...cuz they don't exactly READ anything that goes on in here...as most of us know when we whine and cry "SNOT FAIR"..

Yes. It was a question that asked "do you look like your avatar?" and I put "I'd do myself if I looked liked my avatar". lol. I didn't think it was outrageous, but apparently Yahoo thought it was. lol

I agree with you all the way. Plus, our troops want to and need to hear us say these things, cuz they are the BEST.
