Hi

Most people are happy with larger monitor sizes. Not me! At work, when I use a larger screen I start getting back muscle pain. I have no idea what the cause is. I'm not sure about the inch size. I'm used to using a 16 inch (I think) and these other ones are 19? or 20? inch.

Has anyone else had back pain with larger screens?
What can I do to get used to the screen and avoid back pain?

Most likely cause is the angular posture that you have to assume now. Since it already manifest itself as pain you should have a chiropractor on the situation now, but a monitor is best to be under your eye level, about 5 degrees down when you look at it, in other words the top of monitor is on eye level.
