Are they trying to justify that smoking is good?

More likely those people are trying to get others to think about why tobacco is legal but marijuana is not. By showing that tobacco, a legal drug, is far more harmful (and deadly) than marijuana, people try to state that marijuana should also be made legal.

Trying trying to say that smoking tobacco kills and mj doesn't...or @ least not nearly as bad. Not sure. And they wonder why tobacco is legal and mj isn't.

It is actually because cigarettes are not illegal and have just as many harmful effect to the body if even more.They need another bad excuse. Mariana is bad for the brain and addicting also but they have excuses for that also. They also claim they only want to legalize it for medicinal reasons but all the things it helps with create long term disaster. Thats why they call them dopes and pot heads.

have you heard of anyone dieing from smoking weed, i haven't.unless it was an over dose.smoking tobacco alot of people die from it.
