Long and hard is preferable, always.
Every achievement is like a pinnacle;
everything worth doing takes preparation,
care, time, monitoring and pains.
Long and hard is the right way every time.
Everything you skip, omit or cheat on will
come back to mess up your plans.
For years, since I was 7, I've refused to
cut the corner on a sidewalk's 90 degree turn;
I do that, as I get up after one try at picking up an
object I've dropped doesn't work and pick it up--
to remind me
that there are no short cuts, no evasions, no
easy ways to accomplish anything worthwhile--
and no free lunch.
Now if someone would teach this to our so-called
leaders...?
