I don't know of any "scientific" data that will support or reject the dangers of homsexuality in an unbiased way. The best I can say is that homosexuality seems just a dangerous as heterosexuality or any other sexual alignment.
However, the statistics do definitly tell us that having multiple sex partners dramatically increases the chance of contracting sexually transmited illnesses or dieases.
The best education happens at home, however, since parents are lax in that duty, it's best to not go into detail on the different kinds of sex a person can have, but be very frank about the realities of dying from STD's and how to avoid them (and I'm afriad there is only one sure way to avoid STD's and we stupid adults don't like it and assume teaching and enforcing it is worthless, so I won't even name it).

No more or different than heterosexual sex. There's AIDS, also Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Herpes, and others. Those effect homosexuals and heterosexuals alike.
For example, on one hand there's AIDS, on the other hand there are the venereal diseases European seamen brought with them to the New World, which spread like a gasoline fire throughout, and killed off tens of millions of America's original inhabitants.
The dangers of violence, well, there are some dangers to homosexuals or heterosexuals. A man picks up another man at a bar, one of them is a dangerous sociopath, kills the other. A man picks up a woman at a bar, he's a dangerous sociopath and he stabs, strangles or otherwise murders her, or on occasion, the woman puts a bullet in his head. Or there's rape, which is more common among heterosexuals than homosexuals by far, or accidents involving BDSM, the dangers are even either way. The last time I'd read about such an accident was in Chicago last year, a man left his girlfriend tied and gagged and decided to step out for some cigarettes and the paper at a convenience store, and when he got back, he found her dead. She died of asphyxia while he was away.
The danger of being a homosexual comes from ignorant people whether alone or in packs who cannot feel close to God somehow unless they murder a "sinner". And as long as televangelists continue to irresponsibly, recklessly incite their followers against the community, these attacks won't stop unless there is comprehensive hate crime legislation and compulsory enforcement at the Federal, State, and particularly at the local level.
And it might just help if there was a way to legally make the televangelists take responsibility for their outbursts... for a change.

Answer to Question #1: There is NO, absolutely NO proven scientific data that indicates homosexuality is NOT natural or is dangerous.
It is true that many 'members of the scientific community" think that being homosexual is dangerous or unnatural. But just because a professional scientist has this opinion does NOT make it factual or true. It's just their opinion.
You need to distinguish between the two.
No legitimate scientific study has ever been conducted that has proven being a homosexual is dangerous or unnatural.
The opposite is true - The list of things that indicate that homosexuality is just a small part of the broad continuoum of human sexuality is quite long.
Homosexual sexual relations have been clearly documented in Chimps, ducks, cattle, whales, dolphins, bison, even insects "Homosexuality has been observed for more than 1,500 animal species, and is well documented for 500 of them."
The reason why you hear little about this is most researchers are heterosexual men, and the last thing they have any interest in is homosexual animals. LOL
If you are an AMerican (and I think Aussies are like this too) you're education establishment, it's researchers are very hung up about sex in general, including heterosexuality, and ignore as much of it as they can.
For a proper perspective Europeans and the Japanese are far better. They don't judge they just tell you what they see.
The vast majority of authentic scientifically proven cases of widespread animal homosexuality came from them. American researchers still try to avoid it.
As far as being dangerous.
One could say that it was a dangerous type of behavior, if the only type of sex people had was vaginal intercourse, but most know that every sexual act that homosexuals engage in can be done and IS DONE very regularly by heterosexual couples.
Gay men can only have anal intercourse.
Lesbians can only have oral sex,
But Heterosexuals can have anal intercourse, oral sex and vaginal intercourse.
So given that heterosexuals engage in the same sex acts as homosexuals, but do it with the opposite sex, if it is "dangerous for homosexuals" then it is 'dangerous for heterosexuals."
The dangers come from extra-sexual issues like VD. This can be avoided by everyone with proper precausions. VD is NOT a given.
2; Education is best accomplished by ensuring the truth is easily available.
Unfortunately the forces that most strongly believe that homosexuality is wrong, also believe all sexuality is somewhat perverse, and in their efforts to limit heterosexual sexual education they've made information regarding homosexuality even harder to come by.
So the answer is to break down the barriers to getting the information.
People are endlessly curious about sex in all its forms, and the proof is how much time people spend online looking at it, buying it Etc.
If they had places to go to read the "facts" they'd go and keep going. ;-)

The biggest dangers of Homosexuality are bigots; followed closely by haters.
The problem with logic and data is they can be made to say anything you want. So while most of us will look for simply the facts, there are too many out there with hateful agendas who will twist all the information to their own ends.
Peace :D

Sorry, youve made one typo that I felt duty bound to correct:
Now the Questions are:
1- what kind of logical and scientific data or studies can be produced to show that stupidity/bigotry/homophobia is not natural and is dangerous to people.
2- How we can educate people about the scientific data.
There you go! Have a nice day now, you hear?
*edit*
**clap clap clap** I do sooooo love when the straights get all up in the air and go all technical and scientific like chris there. *shiver*

*edit update*
Um.. could you SHOW me GOD's book please? Err.. no.. not the Bible.. men wrote the Bible.. yeah yeah supposedly under the influence of holy spirits and all that jazz, I know but... I want to see GOD's BOOK.. like Matthew's and John's and Luke's and Ruth's.. by the way... WHEN did Ruth learn to read and write?? Speaking of that.. when did ANY of them learn to read and write?? But I digress.. hugely.. sorry... if youre going to throw GOD into the mix you cant just say stuff like 'I know it says it in there somewhere and I dont know the exact wording but I know the exact meaning' kinda crap, K?? If GOD EVER SAID anything personally that is written down (except for the 10 commandments and as an agnostic Ill give you those but those are the only ones) then I want to see WHERE it is and I want to read it for myself. Can you do that?
Thanks

1. There are none. Homosexuality IS natural and is NOT dangerous. Bigots are dangerous.
2. No scientific facts exist for the hatred you're trying to spread.

When questions like this are ask the first thing bigots scream is AIDS. AIDS is not a gay disease, anyone can get it if safe sex is not practiced. They really need to do their homework before making statements. Lesbians are among the lowest statistics to contract AIDS. I can find no dangers that do not effect every relationship regardless of the sex of your partner.

Hmm, I just go by the tens of thousands of scientists in the AMA and APA, who unequivocally state that orientation is inborn, not a "choice," and not changeable.
How's that for evidence, and science vs. bigotry?

Just because I don't think something is right doesn't mean that I hate gays. I have known many gay people in my life and I like them. I just feel that homosexuality is wrong. God bless the USA for allowing me to have my opinion too !!
