If you're reading this, you've probably heard about many ill-moralled celebrities in all fields; movies, TV, basketball, football, advertising, etc. Some recent examples are Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Pacman Jones, Tank Johnson, and many NBA players. While these people do exist, there are good people that are famous and well known, even if they're not big in the news media's eyes. Can you name some of these celebrities and some of the things that they do for themselves, the community, or the nation? It doesn't matter what kind of celebrity or how many you can name. Just name some of them even if it is just one. Thanks in advance.

Ben Affleck...
Affleck supports a non-profit organization called the A-T Childrens Project.[5] He started supporting the A-TCP after meeting Joe Kindregan when filming Forces of Nature. Kindregan, who was then 9 years old, has a rare disease called ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T). Affleck has attended benefits and spoken to Congress to advocate for the A-T Childrens Project. The disease, described as like having muscular dystrophy, cystic fibrosis, immune deficiency and cancer all at once, is progressive; children with A-T usually do not live beyond their late teens.

He spoke at Joe's graduation from high school this year. I think it is cool that he has kept in touch with him for that long!

I think Paul Newman ( he has been married to Joanne Woodward for about 40 years) and has contributed all the proceeds from his food to charity. Jerry Lewis has raised millions of dollars for the Muscular Distrophy Association. Sports stars like Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, etc. I know these are older stars.
