yeah his response has all of the dignity of a coward trying to run away from someone who twitches a chair down in the path of those pursuing him.

it's preposterous - if cheney's office is part of the executive branch's BUDGET (which they are) then he is restricted by the LAWS governing that branch of govt.

i really don't know why the news media has not seized on this item as a real news item and a real problem for the nation.

basically we have a lawless fanatic for vice president - and no one cares...

Yea well I posted a similar question. Bush apparantly claimed the same. If they aren't part of the executive branch, then they shouldn't be taking funding for the executive branch.
