I had my ears pierced years ago and had no problems. However, recently whenever I wear earrings, my right ear really hurts. The pain begins from the ear and spreads to the right side of my head. It only fades away after I've removed the earring from that ear. There are no signs of infection. Anyone know why this could be happening?

Dear Daughter

Are you wearing them regularly, If you do not for a period of time, the pierced holes try to get close as it is a natural healing, when you wear the ear rings again it applies pressure and you get pain and head ache. This happenned to my wife. Her pierced nose was also closed completely earlier.

If your case is different, better approach a doctor.

Your doing good by wearing posts but also make sure the posts are some type of material that is not cheap.

U can go and purchase a real pair of earrings (gold or sterling silver) as well as something that is nickel-free or the very popular kind gold over sterling silver.

I can't wear cheap earrings either or my ears will swell and produce puss. Also, be sure not to sleep in your earrings, that can have some effect too.

Lighter earrings or you could be allergic to them.

I wore earrings for a long time and ended up getting allergic to them.

Now I can't wear earrings for long periods of time because no matter what type I use, they end up making my ears itch.

i'm not actually particular what the "appropriate" answer on your difficulty is. What I recommend is which you may desire to placed the cleansing answer on it. turn it as quickly as each 2 or 3 hours. attempt to allow it sit down, aka do not push it up interior the ripped section. you pick the ripped ara to heal, inspite of the undeniable fact that it won't if the earring keeps on going up there. no rely what, turn it. I have been given my ear pierced like 3 weeks in the past, and the female suggested that no rely what turn it. in any different case it is going to strengthen in one place and harm much extra to coach or take it out. desire it enables!
