Captain America... they had him ride a motorcycle and he had a motorcycle helmet instead of a mask. And the Red Skull was changed to an Italian fascist instead of a Nazi.
Both Punisher movies were pretty bad. The first one was just poor writing and bad acting (Dolph Lundrgen? Really?). The more recent movie with Thomas Jane was ok, but he didn't really punish people the way he would in comics.
And Zeebya.... the Lex Luthor in movies is more based on the Silver Age Lex Luthor who was more of a criminal mastermind/evil scientist. The industrial entrepeneur Lex Luthor who hated Superman because he's an alien is the result of the DC reboot in the 1980s. Superman Returns touched on that when Lex got the millions from the old lady and when he made the whole speech about Prometheus.

Lex Luthor. Although I loved both Gene Hackman's and Kevin Spacey's performances, as written in the Superman comics by the great Elliott S! Maggin, Luthor was NOT the Greatest Criminal Mind of Our Time, and he didn't want to go around killing millions of innocent people. He simply wanted to stop Superman, and eventually he even gave up on that. According to the comic canon, Luthor was an rich industrialist, an inventor who created many technological marvels which we use everyday in our lives. Some of his greatest inventions were things like a starship that looked like a modern art sculpture, and in fact was displayed as art at the museum in Metropolis whenever he wasn't using it.
So, the movies made the wonderfully complex Lex Luthor into a much more one-note character. The TV show Smallville treated Luthor in a more complex manner.

I have to go by what I've seen (so no "Daredevil", "Elektra", or "Catwoman"), so for me, it's a toss-up between "Hulk" and "Batman and Robin". "Hulk" really could have been interesting had it balanced an examination of Banner's inner demons that manifest themsleves as the Hulk and some nice big Hulk Smash action sequences. Unfortunately, the movie failed to do either well, short-changing th Hulk action and mistaking tedious explanation for character development. To this day, I cannot explain the movie's version of how Banner became the Hulk. "Batman and Robin" is just....ugh. The absolute nadir of the Bat-films. I saw it well after learning it was garbage and sandwiched inbetween several better Schwartzenegger films (which I suppose would be almost any of them). I would advise anyone who wants to see it do the same.
Honorable mention goes to Tommy Lee Jones as the world's least interesting Two Face in "Batman Forever".

I feel superman only ever worked in the comics. Smalville's okay tho. Also Witchblade was made into a series which was pretty pants coz the comic ruled. Same reason of badness - real life people just can't look the part

doesn't anyone remember Catwoman? or the HORRIBLE Marvel made for TV Movies (Spider-Man and the series it spawned, Captain America, which also spawned a short-lived series, and Dr. Strange). There was another Captain America movie in the 90's that was really bad...

Hulk. Long, boring movie that didn't stick true enough to the comic book story.
