ok ive seen many pro- (choice, life) questions that put down pro-lifers like me. here let me telll yousomething. im pro life, vegetarian, do NOT support the war, and love our planet earth. i beleive a woman should not kill a poor baby fetus. it is alive and deserves to live. if she did not want a baby she shouldve worn protection. if she was raped, she shoukdnt be ashamed its not her fault! if they dont want the baby, there are many women who cant get pregnant who do! she should just give it up for adoption. not murder the poor thing!

Here is my only statement on this subject. I do not think that it is anyone's place to tell another person what they can/can't do, especially the governement when it comes to issues of a woman's body.

I understand where some see it as killing, but I also see that there are many young women out there that feel this is the best thing to do for them and/or the fetus. What right do I have to impose on someone elses belief. For that reason alone, I would have to be pro-choice. People will make wrong/bad decisions sometimes, but it is up to them to make it.

Finally, as for abortion protestors, I can say that without a dount, I am very offended by the graphic posters that are sometimes used. Not becuase I don't want to know what you feel abortion is, but becuase I don't want my neices who are very young and don't understand, and we should not have to talk with them about this subject yet to see them. The best way to put your message though is by compassion and understanding. No, you will not be able to get through to every woman who wants to have an abortion, but if you can get through to one woman, isn't that a victory? People do react much better to one-on-one interaction, not the protestors that stand outside the clinic

I completely agree with you. I am 38 weeks 6 days pregnant and my pregnancy was not planned. So when people say well you have never been in that situation before so you don't know how it feels. I can definately say yes, I do know how it feels! I am 25 years old. I was not married when I got pregnant. I do not have a career. I actually was supposed to start law school and then I found out I was pregnant. I did not have health insurance. I did not have any money saved. I had drank alcohol and was on cipro and cough medicine with codiene for bronchitis. I had just started a new job. My boyfriend, (who is now my husband), wanted me to consider having an abortion. I let him know that was never an option. I changed my life around the moment I found out I was having a baby. And I couldn't be happier. My boyfriend and I got married. And I put law school on hold for awhile. Now, my priorities are my family. In life, we must take responsibility for our actions and do our best to make it work. It is impossible to plan for everything but when things happen, you just have to make the best of them. A baby is a blessing and a gift from God. It's wrong to destroy life. If you create a life, let that life have an opportunity like your parents let you. There are so many couples unable to have children and would love to adopt. Unfortunately, these couples go on waiting years before an adoption becomes available. And yet, so many women who can have babies get rid of them. These women could have given their babies up for adoption and brought joy to a childless couple. It is sad that life isn't sacred anymore.

i don't agree with abortion but sometimes it is necessary, i mean i'd never do it, just saying, it's a choice people deserve to make. of course, though, i think after a certain amount of time the baby is living in the uterus, it shouldn't be done.
