Destin is a beautiful place to go to the beach, it is in the panhandle of Florida. Boca Grande is also a beautiful beach. Down south there is a place called Fort Desoto there is a state park there with lots to do, that is also an extremely old city that has forts still left standing from one of the wars, it is also on the water. The theme parks are fun as well, but bring lots of cash and you won't be bored but you might be broke!

Go to the oldest city in the united states.. St. Augustine. There is a Spanish Fort on the shore called Castillo de San Marcos and a little village area where u can go shop or eat at restaurants. It costs $6 to go inside and it closes at 4:30 so get there early! there's another one called Fort Matanzas (u will see the sign for it..its like going to daytona but before it)
but its smaller. its great and has lots of history there. There's also a Ripley's believe it or not museum and an indian shop.
also.. kennedy space station
of course the theme parks

The theme parks are all good but expensive.
I like Busch Gardens & Sea World especially.
Go over to the Space-Coast if you can, Canaveral.
St. Petersburg Beach is the best anywhere.
The town of St. Augustine is historic.

The theme parks are fabulous - make sure you give yourself plenty of time and wear comfortable shoes because you will walk a lot.
The water parks are also a lot of fun.
If you have time take a trip up to the Space Station and check out Daytona.

the beaches are NOT that great beleive me. unless you never been to one in a long time or at all, then go to the ones more south. if youre into attractions go to disneyworld or islands of adventure. there's always something to do. also go to down town disney or citywalk/pleasure island for entertainment and shopping

The beaches are gorgeous. Jacksonville and Fernandina are superb, fairly normal and non-touristy.
