wearing small tampons would be safe. for example OB mini.. but it could break your hymen, because everybody has a different "thickness" of hymen.

Yes it's safe, and tampons and virginity have nothing to do with each other. Don't pay any attention to HmgBrd. She's obviously either a troll or mentally unbalanced in some way.

Yes, they are just as safe as for anyone else. Rarely it will break the hymen but unless you're in a very traditional culture that is concerned about that, it's not anything to worry about. And don't worry, you'll still be a virgin (some people worry about this). It may take some practice to get used to inserting it properly and not being too tight to keep it in. Start off with the lightest absorbency and use a rounded plastic applicator to make it easiest. But they will make your life easier once you're used to them!

Yes they are. I wore them for ten years before I lost my virginity and I had no problems at all.

Just buy the slenderest pack plastic applicators.

As for "You could very easily lose your virginity sticking anything up there!! "... the ONLY way you lose your virginity is if someone sticks his penis in your vagina. Tampons will NOT devirginize you.

Tampons do not stop it from coming out, they soak up the blood from your menstruation.

Just make sure you read the pamphlet and do not keep the tampon in for over 6 hours and you will be fine.

No way can a tampon make you lose your virginity! Your hemen is too far up to even reach the tampon! These people are just so stupid. These stupid moms doen't let their own kids use them because of some stupid wives tale!!!! Ask any doctor, they will say the same thing!!!!!!

Yes they are safe! Make sure you read the directions on how to use them, and be careful.

Yes they are, though be extra careful when inserting them. They may fracture your hymen, which breaks during intercourse. If putting them in hurts a lot, you might be doing in the wrong way. Don't worry about them falling out either.
Be sure to change them often too.
