Jungle type decorations? We are hosting VBS at our church and the theme is the jungle. Can anyone tell me where to find patterns to make your own palm trees or other jungle related things. Thanks.

Our church had a similar VBS a couple years ago. They made vines out of twisted crepe paper, taped leaves cut out of crepe & construction papers to the vines and strung them across the sanctuary. Stuffed animals - monkeys, zebras, even a giraffe - added a bit, plus they made a jungle hut out of a large box covered with tan crepe paper slashed to look like grass. My daughter, who teaches 1st grade, makes a palm tree for her classroom out of sheets of brown and green construction paper. The trunk is folded paper stapled together so that it looks like rough bark, then more is twisted into branches and palm leaves cut from the green. It looks quite realistic.
