Does anybody know where i can go to get lifeguard training in Orland Park, IL. Or anywhere close to that. The ones i found were for younger kids who wanted to be lifeguards when they are older

Most park districts will have a trainer for people who get hired and aren't certified yet or any more. If you want to work for one that doesn't have a trainer, you'll have to find out what sort of certification they use, it will either be Red Cross or Ellis & Associates. Ellis doesn't really offer any outside certifications. The Red Cross does, and you'll have to contact one of their offices to find out how to sign up for one of those programs.

A local YWCA or YMCA may also offer classes. Sometimes park districts offer the training as well.

Contact your local Red Cross chapter for a listing of classes nearest to you.

Enter your zipcode for the number and website of the closest branch for more info.

You could also check with your local YMCA as they usually offer the course.
