I just turned 15, so I can't drive myself anywhere or get a job (except for babysitting). I don't have many friends that actually stayed in town, and I don't have an endless supply of money to buy books, movies, etc.

Any suggestions on what to do??

By the way, Robert D, YES, I'd rather be in school. I'm one of those nerds who loves learning new things, and I really do wish I lived in some place in Asia where school is the most important thing.

go to the library and read some interesting books, write random things that come to mind, spend time with your parents or your siblings, go downtown and just walk around with some friends, make a little retreat in your back yard, take a tarp and a hose and make your own slip-and-slide ;) , in the middle of the night go for a walk and listen to the strange noises and gaze at the stars, if ya have a camera take some pictures and post them on the desktop background on your computer for everyone to admire, go to www.bored.com, or photobucket.com, or blast your favorite music on your sterio and dance around your room like a crazy person, lol, or you could just make up your own song to sing, or you could call random people that u haven't talked to for a while, or what i usually do is ask my dad if he needs help with anything around the house, cause after i've done something boring like that then i get ideas for other more exiting things to do. good luck! :)

Volunteer to help in a nearby animal shelter.
They always need help, the animals will appreciate it.
And you will love yourself for doing it.
And maybe it will lead to something.
You could also be a volunteer candystriper in a hospital.
Get experience in the world.
Guarantee it will pay off later.

Volunteer anywhere! Start working on your resume. Volunteer work looks wonderful. Also look into your area 4-H programs. They are in full swing as well.

If you want to read books or watch movies, then maybe you could go to your local public library. There is plenty to find there.
