Agent Orange was a military herbicide used prolifically during the Vietnam War. It is a mixture of the herbicides 2,4-D and 2,4,5-T. Some batches were contaminated with 2,3,7,8-TCDD (a dioxin, and a by-product of the synthesis of 2,4,5-T), which has led to many claims of long-term health effects in those exposed to it.
