Hard decision....it would probably be Sing For Absolution by Muse. I love it because its so moody. But its the kind of song that you wanna get up and dance to. Plus, while in public areas, i must constrain myself and not scream the lyrics, annoying the people around me. But isnt that what rock and roll is about?

Two Hearts Beat as One (great to dance to) - U2
Promises in the Dark (great to sing along) - Pat Benatar
Suite: Judy Blue Eyes (great driving song!) - Crosby, Stills, & Nash
Comfortably Numb (just great!) - Pink Floyd

The Who- Baba O'Reilly...more commonly known as the teenage wasteland song. Pete Townsend riffs and the song pounds. The album was the Who's first attempt at incorporating keyboards into their songs. Well worth it!

Aw man too hard to just lower it to one! I love a lot of new stuff like Linkin Park-Closer to the Edge and My Chemical Romance-House of Wolves, but at the same time, you've gotta love the old stuff like the Eagles- Witchy Woman, and Led Zeppelin-Stairway to Heaven.

ooohhh to many choices to narrow it down to just one.....

Duane Eddy - Rebel Rouser.........the guitar does it for me, it shows that you don't have to have lyrics in a song to make it great

MC5- Kick Out The Jams - THe energy of the song is awesome and the music is excellent

Joe Walsh - Rocky Mountain Way..........its one of those songs that have a lot of memories behind and also because its a great piece of music

"Louie, Louie" the Kingsmen's version. This song's been covered thousands of times (and by my band) and thousands of other songs are based on the riff. "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Wild Thing"...

and it's a killer rock'n'roll song.
