is it true that peopel with hiv put it on badges and leave them on bus seat to infect others?

Ah, another urban legend (or at least a variation on the same theme of spreading the HIV virus).

I'd refer you to Snopes.com and/or TruthOrFiction.com.

Beleive it or not, the virus that is responsible for HIV is really incredibly fragile. It can be killed by common household bleach (or chlorine in a pool), and can't survive more than a very short time outside of a host organism.

I don't think the chances of contracting HIV from this source are very high.

No because once the disease hits air it dies so it would be pointless to do that
I guess some sick bastard out there could be doing it but it wouldnt do any harm to anyone unless the blood was really really fresh like within seconds

No, we don't. I have HIV, and I would never even DREAM of infecting somebody else with it. Anyone who tells you that needs to grow up.
