How do you fix a steamer that is emitting less steam?

Do you live in an area where the water has a high mineral content? Your heating coil may be covered with mineral deposits.

Try some CLR, Lime-Away, or concentrated distilled white vinegar in the unit to dissolve the minerals. Rinse with plenty of clear water, and try to use only distilled or filtered water in the steamer.
