You will need the old code to change to a new one, or do a full reset to factory defaults and start again! Can you not contact the previous owners?? Watch out if you have removed the fuse, the battery will run down and external sounder will go off due to lack of hold off voltage.
This may help a bit....http://www.texe.com/downloads.php?page=33

You don't need theirs, just scroll into your menu and set up your own. The system should allow for other codes if you have a petsitter in while you are away as well. The only thing you have to do is sign up with a provider that will require a passcode of your own should the alarm go off by your doing. So pick a code of your choosing, pay for a provider and choose a password and you are good to go.

The proper way to do this would be to contact the manufacturer. Do it this way to be sure what you are doing is correct . Other people have said to contact the previous house owners , but if this was possible im sure you would have done it .
The alarm company will probably send out a technician , but so what . At least you get it sorted .

If you can't get the number from the previous owners, you will need to ring their technical support for UK customers in order to find out how to reset to default settings.
Unfortunately, this is not the correct place for me to show you how to do that here.
Ring Texecom on 08456 300 600 and explain your situation to them.

You do need the old codes out for sure since thwe last guy still knows them. call the realtor who closed the sale they can't just leave it up in the air like that. it should have been dealt with at closing at least.
