It seems like it's unlikely right up until it happens to you. Then it's a real problem.

Nope - just the Night Stalker - even though he is behind bars.. he still is scary to me. Regular stalkers are not that unlikely. My sister (who happens to be very beautiful) had some weirdo stalking her and he would drive by our house and peel out and just drive back and forth alot of times. Since she would not pay attention to him, he broke her windshield. We found out who he was and took him to court for the broken winshield and the Judge made him pay for it but the Judge played if off as if it was a lover's quarrel. He would not beleive that they did not know each other!!! A few years later the guy murdered his brother and tried to kill his mother and his niece!! He is currently serving time in prison. All of this happened prior to the stalking law being passed.! So, I never thought that something like that could happen to anyone I knew but it did?!

of course i'm afraid of stalkers! i would be scared out of my mind if someone was stalking me! i have kinda been stalked before... if you count that creepy fat kid in fifth grade who had a crush on me and found out where i lived. believe me! now THAT was freaky!!

I'm not afraid of them unless I know for sure if they pose any kind of threat to me. Sometimes people 'stalk' you with a good intention. But yes, I'm wary of them, for obvious reasons.

no, i don't mind people stalking me, it doesn't freak me out at all.. ^o)
of course people are gonna be afraid of them.
