question for some computer people out there about display drivers and stuff plz help?

after about half hour of playing a game it says the display driver nvlddmkn has stopp resonding and has recovered then it closes my game what is this and how can i fix it

This seems to be a Vista and Nvidia problem.
Have a look at this site for tips that have worked for some people. There doesn't seem to be a complete solution as yet.

Try updating your display drivers...go to http://www.nvidia.com to download them for your card.
