yes u have to start small
first off: do u know anything about football
if the answer is yes then u can try and get a high school coaching job or start coaching youth football its hard to become an nfl coach even harder with no expirence once u get a high school coaching job ur goona wanna stick with that untill u can get a college coaching job once u get that far and u still wanna pursue being an nfl coach then keep coaching college until and nfl organization recgonzies u
this will be very hard and time and effort consuming task i think it would take up too 15 years possibly longer to get to be an nfl coach IF UR EVEN GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!! its basically step by step
1. youth football
2. high school football
3. college football
4. nfl

Your best thing is to start small. Get a job as a pee wee coach or assistant high school coach. Then from there work towards head coach. Then once you have proven yourself as a good coach start looking for college coaching openings. Then from there you can look into the NFL.
Keep your goals on another profession too though. There aren't that many NFL teams so theres a lot of competition to get a job.

Ok first question is did you have any playing experience like high school or college ball? If you do then would try to get a job at the high school level. If you can get a job at a high school, they will probably only make you an assistant or a freshman coach, then i would just work your but off and learn some stuff about coaching from the JV and Varsity coaches. Then after you have coached for awhile you should go apply to a college. If you get hired then just work your way up the ranks and possibly become a head coach. Then if you are really good teams may start looking at you. It is a really long process and quite a tough one at that. Take it from a current high school varsity coach that you should start now but your chances of getting there are slim.

Start in your local little league, after 4 or 5 years move up to Jr High, another 4 or 5 years get on with a high school, after 10 or 15 years there moving up then maybe look at a small college, another 10+ years move up to a larger college, hopefully someone you meet along the way will get hired by an NFL team and will bring your name up. Either way you've got at least 20 to 30 years of work plus a lot of luck ahead of you.

first you need to go to school to be a coach, then you will have to try to get a job at a school, If your Extremely good then maybe years down the road coach college kids. You have to have alot of experience for the NFL they wont just hire somone. You have to go through years of coaching and achievments

Why wait? Josh McDaniels is only 12, so you can do it! & a little advice, learn how to spell, this isn't a cell phone, don't text your questions. NFL coaches I'm sure know how to read & write (except Josh)! So there's a good start for you!

Try starting out at a Junior College or High School, but you will have to be a teacher first. Don't think you can go straight to the NFL.

lower your goals a liitle bit, for now. are you in coaching? if so focus on being the best you can be and getting to the next level. if you arent in coaching, try and get into it.
i mean, i want to be the sheik of texas and have a harem of 1000 dallas cowboys cheerleaders! but i need to focus on getting ONE first! haha GL to you!
