I was a fireman for 26 years. I got to be the hero alot. The sad ones were when a minute made the difference and I was a minute late. Those took some "getting over."

never a hero but have been a big brother to many kids ( not actuall program, i was a camp counselor for 2-8 year olds )

I think I am a hero for the kids I teach and for my little neice. It's a big responisibility when someone looks up to you becuz you don't want to fail them.

Yes I took a bullet for the president at congress but everyone must have blinked at exactly the same time so no one saw it.
I'm not bitter about it, it's just one of those things.

Recently saved a little girl I found on the ground near my house. She was 18 months and had fallen from a second floor window. Horrid details.

i think alot of people have been my hero's without even knowing it....they've rescued me from time to time... with just there words, kind gestures.... and maybe JUST maybe i might have done the same for someone... but I'll never know... =)

there's has been quite a few birds i've saved that couldn't fly etc & looked after till they were ok so i will be their hero i bet :)
