How can Identify Tectonic Faults on a land that is not cross cutted? Thanks.

Thank you fo all who responded. Paul - can you please elaborate more about the "sets of rivers that occur at sharp angles or such or look at a certain area and determine if its moving up in elevation". How can I determine if certain area is moving up an elevation? Can you please advise sites that I can read that can explain more about this? Thanks.

well... tectonic faults constantly moving, it is hard to find a tectonic fault without any evidence of movement (cross cutting in some way) at any point in time.

I am sorry that I could not find a site for you to read on further because I personally could not find one completely relevant to your question, however you can find a book on plate tectonics and seismology that can explain to you in more detail. I personally do a lot of research on this despite my aspiring medical degree.
here are some sites on basics on faults maybe it will help.
I like this site the most:

look for of sets of rivers that occur at sharp angles or such. you can use aerial observations to determine if two plates are sliding by one another, or look at a certain area and determine if its moving up in elevation.
