i think i know why..because of her boyfriend but i dont think its that! i really missed her but the the last episode of her dying was a great but really sad and ! i was crying :(

Probably because the whole show was going to end anyways...I don't know. I was shocked when it happened, and then I was shocked that they ended the series.

She claimed that she was tired of playing a spoiled teenager and wanted to try other things in her career. I also heard it was a money issue: she wanted more and they didn't want to give it to her. I think they just wanted to take the show in a different direction and felt it would be best to put Marissa's story to an end. Clearly that was a big mistake because in my opinion the moment she died the show died with her. Marissa was always my favorite.

Because she realized that Rachel Bilson is so much hotter and all around better than she is. Mischa just couldn't take it, so she had to leave the show cause she was crying everytime she thought about how much hotter Rachel Bilson is than her.

Because she was bored with the show. her character has been through so much that there was nothing left. She asked for a raise, they wouldnt give her one. she laso wanted to focus on movies and continue acting.

she didnt quit, she was written out. the writers did everything they could have done with marissa. she did drugs got cheated on EVERYTHING. there was nothing left so she was written out.
