I would definitely be suspicious. Ask him about it and see if he maintains eye contact or looks nervous, and see if he has a reasonable explanation that he doesn't first have to think about. Also, you could join the websites you know that he has joined and find out what they're all about, but more importantly, you could pretend to be someone else and contact him to see what he'll do!

So . . . if YOU found him on a website he had no reason to join -- what were YOU doing there?

I have multiple emails, too. Some I use for private family emails, another I use for work related stuff and other I use when I register on line for stuff, when I think the email is going to be spammed a lot.

Do you know unless you actually ask him you are not going to know. What kind of website was it? Does he need your express permission to join websites and have email addresses-? Unless you have reason to believe that he is cheating or do something that is going to harm your relationship then you have to ask why you have a problem with this? Being suspicious without a reason is damaging to a relationship!

I hate to say it but what your thinking is probably true. If you can do a search history on those extra email addresses and see if there is anything to get upset about. You can also install spy program on the computer to see whats up. It sucks to feel the need to check up but would suck even more too be played like a fool Hope its nothing good luck

I have 5 different emails most people have an average of 2 or 3.

But if you are feeling concerned there is a reason. Don't do mission impossible behind his back, just ask him, it's as easy as that.

I would ask him. Web sites can be a lot of temptation because we are so anonymous. Perhaps you can come to some agreement that he will only be on the site when you are around. But he could always get on it at work or a friend's home. I knew of couple that divorced because he was cyber dating with someone and refused to quit. If you are really concerned, go to counseling.

Don't be so shocked. Some people like multiple emails. One for work/professional reasons and another for friends and fun. He might not want to mix all those emails together. Or, he might want one for john.smith@yahoo.com (business) and another for motorcyclepapa@yahoo.com (fun!). So long as he is not secretive about it, it's fine. Don't get suspicious just because he didn't tell you about it. As long as he's not all cagey about it now that you've asked (and he will go on it with you in the room), don't worry.

Just depends on how much you trust your husband. Ask him about it and if he gives you a straight up answer then you should trust him unless you find further evidence that he is doing something wrong. It could just be an e-mail for him to have spam stuff sent to that you put on when you fill out stuff online so it's not sent to your main box. Make sure to try and trust your husband!

I have 3 e-mail addresses, and my wife knows about all 3.

1 is for work, and is work-related only (although there are a few exceptions)

1 is for catching spam (the one I give out when ordering online, when filling out forms for companies I think will sell the address to lists, etc.)

1 is for personal correspondance, and is only known to a few friends and relatives (and is very spam-free).

I have about 4 too (yes I am married too). One for work, one I used to use except it got so spammed I dropped it, but I still use chat on it, another for home and anyone can use and everyone has the password, and one I use cause I use it for all my bills and nothing else....
I mean they are free why not, and aren't we all entitled to a little privacy even if we are married?
