I have gained some weight since last summer and feel gross in my current cloths. I live in a tourist town where there is not reasonable shopping for someone who lives here. What are some brand names that fit well and doesn't expose those areas that I don't want to be seen. I can only online shop. I have 34 length pants about a size 9-10, flat chested but can fit in m-xl. Please email.

You sound like you are pear shaped [ smaller shoulders, bust and waist; larger hips, butt and thighs ].
TOPS: Try
slim fitting menswear shirts that end at hipbone
wrist-legth, slim-fitting empire waists
V-necks, scoop necks, or boatnecks
textured turtlenecks that aren't too tight
Avoid: tops that end at waist, or below top of crotch [ too short or too long ]
PANTS: Try
slight low-rise, flat front, boot cut
Avoid: drawstringed, gathered, pleated, cuffed, or tapered ankles [ make your hips look huge ]
SKIRTS: try
a-line, knee length, flared hem
Avoid: clingy or superfull, non-stitched down pleats
SWIMSUITS: Try:
minimizer one pieces with 18% spandex, bikini or one piece with wide set straps or V-neck, bright or print top with darker or solid bottom
Avoid: boy legs, super high-cut legs
P.S. try zafu.com for jeans - they'll tell you which brand will fit best!

Brand for me is mostly about quality not always fit b/c not all clothes are cut the same, take into consideration your body type, measurements and style of clothing.
I swear by Banana Republic jeans..I have never found a better fitting jean..they are not inexpensive but not out of range either and the quality is outstanding.

p.s. don't get hung up on labels and certainly not size tags..sizes are not consistent from manufacturer to manufacturer
****.... and your size is fine. The average American female size is 12-14

Honestly a 9-10 size doesnt mean you are BIG... thats totally normal and I think a flattrering brand can be found here... www.greatglam.com.... they are sexy clothes but you can find hot tops there and some are even longer so they look slimming and cover your butt a bit! Try it out!!! Good luck ;)

it is not necessarily the brand of clothes, but the style that determines whether flattering or not. my wife doesn't stick to a certain brand of clothes. but if you really need to have a brand name, my wife likes jacklyn smith clothes. she hasn't bought any recently though. also, she likes kathy ireland, because they tend to be flattering styles. hope this helps you.
