They never had to force me--I love vegetables. However, they did force my brother to eat them (or sit at the dinner table until he did). My youngest daughter won't eat a vegetable but I don't try to force her either.

No, they had a rule that you had to taste it though. You were free to not to swallow it if you didnt like it. But ya had to taste it.
