did you or would you take your driving test when you are 8 months pregnant?

I failed 5 tests before I passed! My nerves used to get the better of me........I've been driving 10yrs now (am 48)

If you can fit behind the steering wheel at 8 months pregnant, do it. but be VERY careful of doing the emergency stop. To be on the safe side, ask your midwife

took tests in a manual, and drive a manual now

Passed first time and manual because doing the test in an Automatic restricts you to driving them only in the UK. Been driving 30 years..Never did get round to doing the motorbike test though.

I passed first time in an automatic 3 years ago with BSM, very expensive but they are the best. My tutor was lovely and the test guy was great. I did have a few problems but who gets everything right? Good luck with the driving and new baby.

Not sure exactly what you are talking about - I passed my driving test the first time (written and driving) in an automatic (though I already had my motorcycle license at 15 years old - and it had a clutch.

During my working life I have taken thousands of driving tests and a lot of them passed first time. I was a driving examiner for 32 years and no I did not appear out of hell at 8.30 every morning.

I passed on the 7th attempt. Nerves entirely to blame- I drive for a living now with no problems whatsoever!!!! Ultimate sympathy for learners though, its amazing how much easier it is to drive without an overweight bloke in his 50s wearing a too tight suit and stinking of BO breathing down your neck!

Passed on the first try. It was automatic although don't think it made a difference. The toughest part was the parallel parking. I practiced before hand

First attempt LOL yeah, proper manual Ford focus 1.6.
And i did it in the pouring rain, an old woman jumped out in front of me and I did it with the boot open so it was banging all the way round and said it on my dashboard.
I did rather well lol

I haven't passed mine yet but my brother failed his three times and gave up. My mum passed hers first time. Both manual. I think it's just a case of not f****** up on the day.
