Service business are the least money to start. Since you don't need inventory or a lot of equipment you can start one with almost no money.
Lawn mowing would be an example, you can start with a used mower and a bag to haul the grass away. Then as you profit buy a truck, trailer, better mower and hire help.
If you start next door to where you live it and own a mower it a free start up except a tank of gas for the mower.
You could even give a discount to use the homeowner's mower.

Depends on the type of business. If you do a service business (like house painting, bookkeeping, or carpet cleaning), you would have a lot less of a startup cost because all you would need is money for the items you would use to run your busines (aka paintbrushes, computer or carpet steemer). If you do a business with a product to sell, you have a higher initial cost because you have to buy the products your selling.

If you do have a business that sells a product, the best way to save money here is to buy one of each item you're selling and use it as your display sample so that you can take orders and fill those orders later. That will keep you from spending your money needlessly.

When you need a website, Yahoo offers an easy website startup for about $8-12 a month, and it's super easy to put together. I highly recommend them. They also have inexpensive marketing supplies (like business cards which are a MUST for any business. If you don't have business cards, you will not be taken seriously. They cost as little as $15 at www.iprint.com - yahoo's printing company).

Then, you can do free marketing for your company in your area through www.craigslist.org and Yahoo's websites. If you are selling a major product and want to sell it nationwide, join
commission junction (www.cj.com) and they will have people sell it for you. (This company is free to join, you only pay a small commission...one you dictate...when the people sell for you.) Also try www.mypoints.com (another affiliate company). There is a small fee for listing on ebay, and selling with pictures is definitely worth it.

If you really want ideas, I recommend watching "The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch". This is absolutely the best show I've ever seen for making millions while selling your products. They basically tell you everything you need to know on how to get your product out there.

Hope this helps.

Great Question!!

As you may have already found out, there is plenty of Online companies out there.

I too was looking for a way to supplement my income on my spare time. So... after careful researching I decided to join a company called Global Domains International. Their website attracted me a lot because it was easy, there was no direct selling and most of the marketing is done for you.

The best thing about GDI is that you can truly take your business globally, I have team members that reside in Australia, Canada, India, Spain, Italy, all over South, Central and North America. There is a 7 day free trial period, but then after that it is only $10.00.. just 10... not even enough to take a friend out to the movies.

At first I was just about as skeptical as most people, but now my only regret is not having found out sooner. I am not promising riches over night, not at all, but with a little bit of time, dedication and a dream anything is possible. Take a few minutes and take a look at our presentation, or anyone that is reading this.. take a few minutes and listen to what we have to offer. You won't regret it.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have.

Talk to you soon.

Sincerely,

Isra.

whether you will raise capital from some other source or build it from the ground up, you'll need some kind of leverage, be it assets or pure talent, and some salesmanship
