They should be as long as you haven't bleached them or washed them with some chemical product that could be absorbed into the water then normal household marbles should be fine in your aquarium.

Just wash them good with fresh water, no detergents, they should be fine. Or there are variations and different shapes of marbles to be had at hobby shops or even wal-mart.

Yes they are. Just make sure you run it under hot water with no soap foor a couple of minutes.

yes but make sure you wash them well but not with soap it will kill them you might want to soak them in the same water as your tank for about two days just to be really safe

Yeah thats fine your fish can't eat them so its safe, its just like regular rocks.

Yeah just be sure to wash them real well and if you feel you have to use soap rinse them for about 2 minutes.

Yes, they should be, but you might still want to wash them off first, clean them thouroughly as you would a new fish tank.
