Words You Hate?

Milk (yuck lol)
Cheap
I See (that's a phrase lol though i hate it)
etc...

Well personally, as an English major, I tend to be overly sensitive to correct word usage - but I am also just 21, so I am not totally obsessed with it. I do not necessarily hate *any particular* words per say, (unless it is a racial slur or specifically denigrating to a certain group or ethnicity) more so than I just hate when people use words out of context and try to create entirely new words themselves. Now, this does not include commonly accepted slang words or idioms either (look up idioms if you do not know what it means).

Example... for a while the artist Ashanti and Gwen Stephanie were among some of the few that tried to turn the word "bananas" into a new slang word meaning "crazy." Oh my God did that annoy me... They would say stuff like, "This party is bananas!" What!? Boo!

And keep in mind that it never caught on. Cheers!

I hate saying words with that "R" sound, like "car" & "borrow" (my speech sucks & alot of people think I have an accent & I'm from massachusettes or the east area.)

i hate all swear words
i hate it when people swear, i don't swear much but sometimes if i'm REALLY REALLY REALLLLY mad then I just gotta let it out, but i hate it when people swear in like every sentence for no reason. Easpecaly when I hear someone talking like this,,,,,,

Today I was stuck in $#$%#$ traffic and this #@$ guy was like ##%$#@ honking at me for no @#%#$#$ reason. So i rolled down my @#%@#@ window and told him to #$#%$ off! i was 5 @##$#$@ minutes late to the @#$#@$% thing I had to go to. #$%@!


I hate it when people talk like that, you can say ALL of that without swearing you know. ugh :)

I hate when people say words like "gay" "f@g" and "retard" as if there are two meanings to them. There aren't. All they do when you say it to someone who isn't like that is make people who are gay or mentally disabled uncomfortable.

i hate the word "jerk"... i know it sounds stupid, but my mom always called me a jerk, and now when someone calls me that, even if they are playing, it digs under my skin.
