I feel that he will get plenty of playing time in Atlanta because I finally think Blank has had enough of Michael Vick who may be indicted for dog fighting.

I watched Vick self destruct on the field last year. He is not nearly as good as he was in 2002. He is also self destructing off the field. That's why I think Harrington will play, but I know very little about him.

I haved followed harrington through his whole nfl career being a lions fan and I will tell you a few things about the guy first off he does not have the talent to take any team all the way trust me. Also when you watch him play it's almost like he's not able to keep up with the fast pace of the game thats why he throws so many interceptions he has a very bad case of happy feet so if there is any kind off pressure he does not know what to do but throw it up or take the sack he just doesn't have that raw qb mentallity you need to carry a team in the nfl I could go on and on about the guy but your just gonna have to see for yur self

I do think that Joey is a pretty good player i mean he has the basics to be a very good QB in the Nfl its just that he needs to be mentored in to a that kind of QB that mentor is not Michael Vick who i belive is a bit overated I mean hes a great Scambler dont get me wrong has a strong arm too but had attitude probs. I hate to say it but hes alot like T O they are both great players it just there off the field behaivor. I also belive that the Falcons have already chosen their Franchise Guy which of course is Vick. So i think the only way that Harrington will get a chance is if Vick gets hurt but even if he performs well Atlanta will always go back to Vick.

Well joey harrington was a very promising qb but the problem was he got stuck in detroit with no offensive line and was get blown up by defenders he lost his confedence miami picked him up thinkin that the change would do him some good and restore his confedence hes gettin better good throwing arm he has a 68. 2 QB rating but it'll get better in the atl he also averaged 203.3 yard a game last year something i dont think you seen vick ever do they have the line to protect him with 2 good running back to sustain him

He isn't a bad player. He's just had bad luck. He's never had a stable coach, offensive system, or a solid team around him. He doesn't always make great decisions, but that could improve if Bobby Petrino is what the Falcons hope he is. I remember a Thanksgiving Day game where he threw the long ball perfectly to a wide open WR that just dropped it without reason. If he gets a shot in ATL, and he probably will, look for him to have solid numbers. If he starts sometime next season, look for him to put up good QB numbers.

Harrington is the type of player who is great when there is no preasure on him. Look at his college years he was great for two years in Oregon, then they put up the big heisman billboard, put the pressure on him and he had an average season. Third pick overall and starting as a rookie led to lots of preasure and little results. Then he went to be a back up in miame with no pressure and he was a productive player again.

he's never been as good in the pros as he was projected to be. coming out of oregon he was highly publized by the school (who has ties to the founder of nike) with a huge nike add in times square picturing him in his college ducks uniform. that kind of hype should have backed up by a great nfl career, however harrington wasnt good enough in detroit to live up to it and miami gave up on him quickly. i just think more things were expected from him and frankly he's not that good. atlanta should have kept shwaub.

I don't know, I think that Vick will start unless he gets arrested. Vick can run, and he can really throw the ball when he wants.
