You don't need any special software for that, just set your Internet Explorer options to automatically dial a connection.

Once you've created the dial-up connection in Win98 and used it successfully, the username & password are saved.

Of course, GETTING a username/password is simply a matter of signing up for dial-up service from some ISP like Verizon or Earthlink etc. No program is gonna get him around that- he needs to pay somebody $$$ for service, is all.

Oh wow, WINDOWS 98!?!? Buddy you need to upgrade BAD! What internet provider do you have? att&t yahoo, msn, earthnet, netzero, peoples pc??? Well I can help you build a new computer and provide you with the software but of course it can get expencive easily. I'd suggest just buy a good $300 computer. Nothing too fancy but that will get the job done. But without knowing which internet you have first I can't help you with ur question so if you get back to me I can further help you out.

This is a two step process. First setup dial up networking to save your password. Then get a dialer utility. here's a list
