Look......I've been working for the US Government for 3.5 years as a Contractor and then the last 23 years as a Civilian employee. If I get given a new job all it means is more work, no new raise, no new prestige, I'm still not getting a performance award because my upper management are all ******* and I have to do more work in the same amount of time........and I can hopefully retire in 9.5 years.
Privileged? I think NOT!!!

It's a Privilege to be given the chance to learn new things and to advance myself in many opportunities at work. I too love it.

It really depends on what the job is. If it's something that allows me to utilize my skills (i.e. planning an event), then yes, I love it. If it's something tedious that he's just to lazy to do himself (i.e. stuffing envelopes) then I don't really care for it. But he's my boss. So I suck it up and do it to the best of my ability.

Depends on the job I'm given... some have their rewards but occasionally they don't.
