Only wish it would! Bucketsful! There's a terrible forest fire burning at Lake Tahoe and they're having a really hard time getting any control of it. Entire blocks of houses have burned to the ground and people have been evacuated with no time to save anything. Many of the hotels have opened their doors as emergency shelters and the highway is closed except to emergency vehicles. This is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and the color and clarity of the lake are unbelievable. If all the ash from the fire settles into the water, it could do real damage. It's a terrible tragedy.

It's been raining all day, here in Texas. In fact, I can only think of one day, in the last 2 weeks, that it hasn't rained a little. It's becoming quite cumbersome, to say the least!
